I am thrilled to have been chosen as Labour's Parliamentary Candidate for Hertsmere.

As Chair of the Hertsmere Labour Party I am endorsing Holly Kal-Weiss' candidacy for selection as our Parliamentary candidate because I have been incredibly impressed by the passion and commitment she has shown in campaigning alongside us over a range of issues that are affecting our local community in recent times.

Everywhere I go, whenever I mention Holly’s name, people seem to love her. She is warm and personable, great at listening and has strong connections to our Borough.

Holly is someone who is deeply moved by injustice and desperate to see a Labour government end the austerity that has plagued Britain for over a decade, so that we can create a society For The Many Not The Few.

We support Holly Kal-Weiss for Hertsmere MP. Holly has a proven track record of fighting for social justice and sticking up for the little people. She knows, understands and shares the concerns of the people of Hertsmere having taught in a local school in the heart of the constituency. Holly’s love of people in all their diversity shone through with her support of our LGBTQ+ motion recently, being the first in line to show solidarity under the Pride flag in protest with us outside Hertsmere Borough Council after the Tories filibustered our inclusivity motion at a Meeting of the Full Council. An accomplished public speaker, Holly recently shared the stage with front bench Politician Clive Lewis MP when he visited Hertsmere, she engaged a roomful of local people speaking on a number of issues, ranging from container homes to the environment. Holly would be a passionate and caring ally to every single Hertsmere constituent as their Member of Parliament. We wholeheartedly endorse Holly Kal-Wiess.

She has already been campaigning in Barnet to fight cuts to social care and she understands the difficulties people face living with reduced mobility. She will fight for better access to transport and an increase in GP surgeries to cope with the rise in our population here in Hertsmere.so Holly Kal-Weiss will get my vote!
